It is considered an axiom that the national education system expected to render a service during real and ever-changing educational needs of given nation. Typically, primary functioning characterised by provisioning educationally determined pathway for each student according their specific contexts. A state emergency arises when community suddenly faced with dramatic challenges such as those posed external factors namely global outbreak COVID-19. In this situation, unique challenge individual systems was address students pre-condition safeguard health in face pandemic. The response had prioritise implementation protocols all stakeholders, along provision quality education. objective article explore approaches practices BRICS nations (Brazil, Russia, India, China South Africa) implemented time To accomplish objective, systematic document analysis conducted ultimately allowed identification lessons be learnt. results show many similar employed transitioning online teaching, devoting funds emerging developing new teaching strategies. concludes learnt from under investigation.
